Antiviral Research publishes research reports, short communications and review articles on the control of viral infections in humans, animals and plants. Its scope encompasses: novel approaches to the prevention and treatment of viral diseases; new antiviral drugs, including their synthesis, in vitro testing and mechanism of action; assessment of drug safety and mechanisms of resistance; novel vaccines for humans and animals; therapeutic antibodies, interferons, interferon inducers and other host response modifiers; animal models of viral diseases; pathogenesis studies, especially those focusing on mechanisms by which viruses evade host immune responses.

Molecular Nutrition & Food Research is a primary research journal devoted to health, safety and all aspects of molecular nutrition such as nutritional biochemistry, nutrigenomics and metabolomics aiming to link the information arising from related disciplines: Bioactivity & Safety - Nutritional and medical effects of food constituents including integrated risk/benefit evaluations. Immunology - Understanding the interactions of food and the immune system. Microbiology - Food spoilage, food pathogens, chemical and physical approaches of fermented foods and novel microbial processes. Chemistry - Isolation and analysis of bioactive food ingredients while considering environmental aspects.

Molecular Cancer Research publishes articles describing novel basic cancer research discoveries of broad interest to the field. Studies must be of demonstrated significance, and the journal prioritizes analyses performed at the molecular and cellular level that reveal novel mechanistic insight into pathways and processes linked to cancer risk, development, and/or progression. Areas of emphasis include all cancer-associated pathways (including cell-cycle regulation; cell death; chromatin regulation; DNA damage and repair; gene and RNA regulation; genomics; oncogenes and tumor suppressors; and signal transduction), in addition to studies describing new molecular mechanisms and interactions that support cancer phenotypes. For full consideration, primary research submissions must provide significant novel insight into existing pathway functions or address new hypotheses associated with cancer-relevant biologic questions.

The journal offers prompt publication of high-quality original research and presents new information in the areas of clinical nutrition medicine, pharmacology, nutrition medicine, genetics, adipogenesis, behavioral epidemiology, biophysics and lipid metabolism, exercise and human physiology, nutritional epidemiology, phenotyping, fat cell physiology, aging, neuroscience, transgenic models, metabolic syndrome, nutrition behavior, pediatric obesity, and adipocyte cell biology.
