<p>After graduating from Smith College with a B.A. degree in Economics, I began my career working in commercial banking in Chicago for Harris Bank. At the Harris, I worked in both large corporate and middle market banking, extending credit and cash management services and developing a niche with retailers and merchandisers. At the same time, I received my MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.</p>
<p>After receiving my MBA, I moved to Louisville, KY where I joined KFC, then part of PepsiCo. I spent four years at KFC working in strategic, real estate development and financial planning. At KFC, I developed deep financial experience in the areas of test market analysis, operational efficiency measurement and reporting, product mix and pricing optimization, and store level budgeting.</p>
