Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. AZ-002 is indicated for the treatment of Acute Repetitive Seizures. It initiated a Phase IIa proof-of-concept study for AZ-002 in patients with epilepsy. Its product AZ-007 contains Staccato zaleplon as an active ingredient. It is developing AZ-007 for the treatment of insomnia in patients who have difficulty falling asleep, including those patients with middle of the night awakening who have difficulty falling back asleep.
