Accumulated a lot of data on 8-oxo-dG content

1)  Within DNA in various tissues (can not be profiled non-invasively)

2) Free 8-oxo-dG in urine and blood

3) In cancer biopsies (shows that the DNA of cancer tissue is more damaged then in the normal tissues)

In blood samples of healthy individuals, cfDNA concentrations vary from virtually zero to 100 mg/mL. In patients with tumors, 0.3% to 90% of cell free DNA is of tumor origin
