In life sciences, it seeks to invest in medical devices, laboratory instrumentation, and diagnostics; in information technology the firm prefers to invest in software including consumer internet applications, infrastructure software enterprise applications; systems, mobile, and semiconductors; and in clean tech it focuses on solar and biotech companies. It prefers to invest  between $1 million-$5 million initially in a company, The firm may also reserve additional capital for subsequent financing rounds.
