Vertex One Asset Management Inc. was founded in the fall of 1997 by three partners. Since then, the assets under management have grown to nearly $2 Billion with a team of 20 professionals. Prior to founding Vertex One, your portfolio managers had a long history with very large bank-owned investment counselors. These firms will remain nameless. But, it is sufficient to say that indexing portfolios for a fee is an exercise your managers were not willing to undertake, and thus Vertex One was born.
